Our Story
Why TallGiraffe Was Born
TallGiraffe was born from a simple belief: childhood should never be rushed.
After years of working in the corporate world, becoming a mother changed my perspective completely. I realized that the earliest years of life shape a child’s confidence, curiosity, and emotional well-being.
This inspired me to create TallGiraffe—a place where children are understood, respected, and encouraged to learn naturally through meaningful experiences rather than pressure.

Barnali Roy
Founder & Child Development Educator
After spending more than 15 years in the corporate world, my journey took a new direction when I became a mother. I began volunteering in an early childhood program, helping care for around 30 toddlers alongside a close friend. This experience deepened my understanding of children’s emotional and developmental needs.
To build professional expertise, I later worked in a Montessori preschool, where I gained practical experience in Montessori education and child development.
Today, I bring together my experience as a mother, educator, and corporate professional to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected, and inspired to become confident, independent learners.
